This is important because sometimes a cake needs to survive a long distance trek across rocky road Trinidad for a special event in tropical humidity! In addition, it also needs to last a few days if its being dropped off in advance for an event or to allow for those who like to savor the moment and stretch their cake consumption for a bit longer than the event day.
